This afternoon, Paul Domowitch of the Philly Daily News broke the story that Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive lineman Lane Johnson has tested positive for performance enhancing drug use and will be suspended for the first four games of the Eagles’ 2014 season.
The signs that Lane was indeed juicing appear obvious to me, but somehow the team overlooked them. Here’s some evidence that something may have been up with Lane this offseason….
Above: Note the larger than normal sized head, usually associated with PED users.
See: the clearly visible syringe in Johnson’s left hand, again, often associated with players who use syringes to inject themselves with PEDs.
Lane Johnson tweeted on June 15 that he did steroids.
Pretty clear-cut here, I feel.
